Reducing anxiety naturally – It DOES work!

I’d like to take some time to talk about anxiety and how to reduce it naturally. There are so many reasons why, I believe, turning to mass-produced synthetic drugs isn’t always a good idea.

I always like to point out in my writing, I am not a doctor, but I have extensive experience with anxiety and after many years of trying so many ‘solutions’ I have finally found a method which works for me and it’s this approach to beating anxiety, that I want to share with you.

I will also go in some details on using a secret weapon in the fight against anxiety, magnesium, and why it can so helpful in reducing those awful symptoms to a manageable level.

Anxiety = Big $$$ for Big Pharma!

Anxiety and in fact, many other mental health disorders are the big gain for the big pharmaceutical companies which, we all know, but they seem to be very complacent with churning out anti-anxiety drugs like there’s no tomorrow. But, they do not cure anxiety and in some cases, quite a lot of cases, make things worse for the user.

There are several medications available on the market that are prescribed for anxiety, including the big guns below;

  • Selective Seratonin Reuptake Inhibitors (SSRI’s)
  • Seratonin and Noradrenaline Reuptake Inhibitors (SNRI’s)
  • Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors (MAOI’s)
  • Benzodiazepines

If I were to note here the side effects of all the above combined, we’d have a whole article, but myself, having tried MANY of the above only to find that my symptoms worsened but yet I still felt dependent in taking them, the side effects were, at times unbearable and lastly, the concoction of medication was costing me a small fortune each and every month!

It is estimated that the mental health market could be with an astronomical USD $14.6bn a year with mental health drugs they most profitable niche in the market, so when looking at those kinds of numbers, it really is in the interests of big pharma to keep us taking our Prozac regularly!

Why its best to do the work naturally

With the above said, when I decided that I didn’t want to be taking anti-anxiety medications for the rest of my life I went in search for natural remedies that worked for anxiety.

It wasn’t long before I was finding that there are many natural solutions that really can help in reducing anxiety to a manageable level, but not only that, some of these ‘Self Technologies’ as I like to call them, were are actually BENEFICIAL for your health and had ZERO side effects!

I think probably the most fundamental improvement I found (aside from massive reductions in my anxiety symptoms) was that other areas in my life began to blossom, and they can for you!

I was less stressed than I have ever been, my confidence soared and I started to feel GOOD about myself and that was something I hadn’t experienced, in a very, very long time!

My passion for life grew from strength to strength and I noticed how much not only my mind was getting better, but my body. My skin felt better, my vision improved and this was all from making small, yet consistent changes in the way I dealt with treating my anxiety.

Also, worth noting is that when using some anxiety busting techniques I’ve discovered is that instead of just ‘masking’ the issue, the real root cause of my problems, like what happened with the medication, I was finding real long term ‘change’ meaning that I was able to tailor what treatments to use and when to fit around my lifestyle.

It is also worth my mentioning here, that, it still takes, hard work and dedication to get to the point where you want to be, my methods are not quick-fix solutions, however, if you give them to time and patience they deserve, you WILL see a reduction in your anxiety.

Synergy and Balance Design

So, getting down to my approach in dealing with anxiety, it’s actually a very simple principle but that doesn’t mean it is not effective! What I found with myself is that I needed to tackle three things in a holistic manner and in doing so I managed to not only reduce my anxiety but vastly improve other areas of my health as well.

There are also various products and techniques in each modality so this really is a trial and error method but there is a real synergy to be found when using them all together, hence I coined the term, the ‘Synergy and Balance’ design.

This methodology is broken down into the below.

  1. Energising the body
  2. Mind Remodeling
  3. Detoxifying the mind and body

Working on these different aspects on your mind and body, as previously stated, takes time, but you WILL notice that all of a sudden, your anxiety triggers are not so prevalent anymore, your critical thinking and negativity starts to diminish, only to be replaced with a more, calm, focused and relaxed you, it really is wondrous to start to have some self-esteem and confidence and more of a can-do attitude.

Magnesium – For anxiety?

I mentioned in the introduction to this article that I would talk about my secret weapon. I really don’t want it to be a secret and I’d actually love for as many people as possible to know about the benefits of magnesium and what it can do to help your anxiety symptoms!

I have found that adding a regular supplement of magnesium is working wonders for anxiety, I wish initially taking it by using a power but as of late I am learning that magnesium is absorbed into the body by using a spray! I made the switch and indeed you can really see excellent relief by using magnesium via this medium.

We are already told that as a population, our magnesium intake is at an all-time low and it’s thought that this could be a direct result from our consumption from whole grain to refine flours.

Magnesium is a natural muscle relaxant and studies are finding that the symptoms we find from anxiety can be reduced with increased intake of magnesium!

After all my years of learning about the effects of anxiety one thing I constantly come across is that one of the most important aspects in reducing anxiety is to strengthen the neuropathways in our brains and this is where the magnesium aids in the development of these pathways!

As my regular readers will know, I try not to delve too much into the scientific findings or jargon, I just want to know if the solution works and I can safely say that adding magnesium to your anti-anxiety toolkit is something I wholeheartedly recommend.
